How to deep clean a mask?

Just bought a dye i5 from a friend. He bought it brand new less than a year ago and used it almost weekly so there's a good amount of dirt and sweat in the mask. How should I go about washing it to get everything out?

I bought a used i4 recently and first make sure to remove the lens, I used rubbing alcohol on the foam that sits on your face in order to disinfect it and repeated that a couple times then I soaked the entire mask without lens in hot soapy water, after that you can rinse it off with more hot water and air dry it, should come out just like new

Did the foam fall off when you soaked it?

I remove the lens from my recently purchased used evs and put it in the dishwasher on the top rack and it came out looking brand new

i like this idea. sounds easy and convenient

This might be alright as long as it doesn't get too hit. You don't want to mess up the glue that holds the foam.

How was the foam? I think some adhesives can melt in the dishwasher so I would be careful with this. I usually just wash mine in the sink with dish soap and hot water.

Don't use antibacterial - I think it takes the film off. Check the tags.

Fill up a bucket or sink with scalding hot water. Drop your mask in and swish it around with a dowel or something so you don't have to put your hands in. Hot water cleans out just about everything you're likely to have on a paintball mask and lets you avoid soaps and chemicals.
